A Hunting We Will Go......

Well it's that time of year again where a become a pumpkin person. I really do like to go hunting. It's really quiet out there and you can here and see the most beautiful things of nature. And not only that, the meat is vertualy fat free. Yes I like venison if it is cooked right. I gave Mom some and told her how to cook it and they liked it. Not crazy like some people but they liked it. (The horns don't cook up very well so if I get a deer I get one. But if I don't that is still OK with me .) So happy hunting this year to all who enjoy hunting.

It's Time To Give Thanks

It's the time of year we have to be thankful for what we have. In the blink of an eye it could all be gone. I almost lost a very inportant part of me this past year. My husband. I love him with all my heart and soul. and just from him picking up something heavy he could have died. And I have God to thank first and formost. Then I thank all my family and friends for being there for us. They gave me strength and courage that I desparitly needed. And they gave my husband prayers. Prayers that God heard. Prayers that saved our lives.
It's a good thing to give thanks. It makes us sit back and reflect on what we did for this past year since last Thanksgiving. So, say thankyou and give thanks. God gaves us a beautiful world to play in!

Harvest Moon!

Well it's been another full month of Dr appontments and what nots.
Sam has moved again. This time to Oklahoma, where his brother and sister-in-law live. He's called me a few times to let me know he's doing OK. He may also come home for a day around Christmas when he and his brother go to pick up some things in Maine that his brother needs. So I'm looking forward to that.
Marianne is still working with the kids. She's also had a job offer in Albany working for the same people, but doing something different for them than just working with the kids. She is also thinking about moving down state again. And even if she does move she can still travel to Albany. It's about the same distance.
Buddy and I went house hunting the other day and found a beautiful one that we both liked. Which is surprizing because that doesn't happen often. We usually have a hard time deciding on something that we both want. But when we do it's great! And this house is beautiful! I cann't wait to sell this one and get the new one put in on the other half of the property.
Well, till next time, Chow chow
